Me, Myself and I

You know you’ve moved on when eating his favorite chocolate doesn’t dampen your spirit.

You know you’ve moved on when his absence doesn’t bother you.

You know you’ve moved on when his coffee brown eyes become a nonentity to your sight.

You know you’ve moved on when his poems end up in your trash.

You know you’ve moved on when you burn down his portrait that was supposed to be your greatest work of art.

You know you haven’t moved on because all these things still matter to you.

You never stopped hoping, you only stopped trying.

Maybe that’s where it all went wrong.

And now here you are, writing to yourself, about yourself, for yourself.

Do you still wonder what went wrong?

A fresh beginning and the inevitable ending. Now that’s a beautiful phrase. There is inexplicable sorrow in it but the beauty of the words!

A wise man once said, if you can love once then may be twice, and then may be thrice and so forth, as long as you know how to love. No harm in tasting nectar of different fruits πŸ™‚

Oh yes, self-love before anything else is without a doubt most important to me! Even though people say that makes me selfish, I don’t care. They have no inkling of what I’ve been through.

Yep. That’s exactly what I think. There’s a fine line of difference between compromise and slavery. The former is done out of love while the latter is a pointless waste of time. Love is about connecting someone whose flaws fit perfectly with yours, it’s like putting together a puzzle piece.

This is very true! I believe if the love is true, then you’ll never really move on/forget the person, but some day you’ll start to be okay with not having them around anymore; someday you can look back on it and it won’t hurt anymore.

Thanks a lot Pavan, means a lot coming from you (: I don’t remember if I’ve told you this before but I’ve always been awestruck by your writing. You’re truly an exceptional writer, which I’m guessing I must have mentioned before!

You’re welcome! There’s magic is your writing and not everyone can write that way.
I’m glad that I found your blog.
I’m flattered! The reason behind the fact that I still blog is because of people like you. You inspire me to keep writing.

As long as we’ve this platform and each other, I’m sure inspiration will never fall short. We all have stories to tell and it would be unfair to leave this journey right now. There’s a lot to be discovered yet so please don’t be discouraged!
        Take care (:
